PROJECTS

Overview
Questions

The knowledge base for how we run projects — the fractal plan/work/review lifecycle and the accumulating checklists & playbooks that guide correct operation. This tab tracks the design state; it is not yet live machinery.

§0 North star — every system is a flight checklist

All Jarvis systems should be built like a pilot's pre-flight checklist: a consistent, structured, always-run-in-order sequence of general rules that lead to correct operations and decisions, distilled from accumulated knowledge, learning, and wisdom. A checklist makes the right thing happen by default — not by memory, mood, or luck. Folding each project's lessons back into the checklists is the mechanism of our ongoing improvement.

Most efficient
least wasted work / tokens / time / rework
Minimal errors
fewest things broken, redone, or missed

§1 The three-step lifecycle (fractal — recurses at project / module / session)

STEP 1 · PLAN

Outline + premortem

  • Where the thinking happens
  • Groundwork that makes Step 2 easy
  • Contains its own planning review
STEP 2 · IMPLEMENT

Execute + log everything

  • The easy step (plan did the work)
  • Log all work + decisions
  • Log every problem / break / deviation
  • Raw material for Step 3
STEP 3 · REVIEW

Understand → interrogate → distill

  • P1: goal? work, decisions, problems, quality
  • P2: right / wrong / do-differently → knowledge
  • P3: distill the checklist/playbook (ground truth)
  • May spawn work + re-run to "ready to ship"

§2 Three integrated primitives

PWR process
Plan/Work/Review — fractal engine, run consistently at every level. ASRC is its automation.
Checklist
The always-run per-phase steps. Output of reviews; compounds per level.
Playbook
The domain-specific procedure (dashboard-page, DSP-iteration, migration…). Integrated with the checklist + PWR.
